TempMail (yourtempmail.com) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our temporary email service.

By using our service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information We Collect

Temporary Email Data: TempMail stores the generated address, expiry time, and message identifiers, sender addresses, and subjects needed to show the inbox. Message bodies are fetched from Maildrop when opened; TempMail does not save them in its message records. The inbox timer ends the intended access period, but database records are not currently removed automatically at expiry.

Other Information: Premium access is associated with a random visitor identifier. If you subscribe to the newsletter, we store the email address and request IP address for subscription management. Stripe handles payment details.

Usage Statistics: We collect aggregate counters such as the number of emails generated and used to operate and improve the service.

Payment Information: For premium purchases, payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card information on our servers. Stripe's Privacy Policy applies to payment data.

Google Analytics: Google Analytics is not currently configured or loaded on this site.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and maintain the temporary email service
• Process premium upgrade payments
• Improve and optimize our website
• Monitor usage and detect abuse
• Comply with legal obligations

Data Retention and Deletion

Expired inboxes are deactivated when accessed after their timer ends. The associated address and message-metadata records are not currently subject to an automatic deletion schedule and may remain in our database after expiry. Message bodies are retrieved from Maildrop and are not saved in TempMail's message records.

Aggregate usage counters are retained to monitor service usage.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Maildrop.cc — Provides the underlying temporary email infrastructure
• Stripe — Processes premium payments securely
• Google AdSense — Serves one contextual ad on the temporary-email guide. Google's certified Privacy & messaging CMP presents its published consent choices to eligible visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland; inbox pages do not load AdSense.
• Google Analytics — Not currently configured or loaded

Cookies and Tracking

Cookies or similar technologies may be stored to support site functions.

On the temporary-email guide, Google's certified Privacy & messaging CMP presents the published consent message to eligible visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland. Google provides a “Privacy and cookie settings” link on pages displaying European regulations messages so visitors can review or revoke their choices. AdSense uses those choices when serving ads. No AdSense code is loaded on inbox pages, and Google Analytics is not loaded.
